INCEPTION OF CONFLUENCE
The first ‘Confluence’ of Civics Society, CIE was held on January 14, 2006. Prof. R.P. Sharma was the chief guest for the occasion and Prof. U.S. Sharma along with prominent members of CIE academic faculty graced the event with their presence. The programme began with a welcome address by Deepak Kanoujia, President, Civics Society. It was followed by a beautiful inspirational song which set the tune for the rest of the day’s events. Dr. Pankaj Arora, Head, Department of Civics, under whose innovative and able guidance ‘Confluence’ was made possible, briefed the alumni about the significance of this platform and their role and contribution towards making it a success. Prof. R.P Sharma who has been a pillar of CIE greatly appreciated the endeavour of civics society and called ‘Confluence’ a ‘Sangam’ of great minds. Prof. U.S. Sharma, Head and Dean, CIE, expressed his happiness at the innovative use of technology to begin a new phase in civics teaching and felt the need for having such platforms in other disciplines as well. The session after the tea break began with a self introduction round by the alumni and the current batch, thereby creating a comfortable environment for everyone to know each other better. This was followed by a panel discussion which addressed some common issues and problems faced by the Political Science teaching fraternity. The open session invited specific queries of the pupil-teachers. This session proved to be very fruitful for all as many doubts got cleared and opinions formed. The programme ended on a pleasant note and an invitation was extended to the civics alumni for all future ‘Confluences’.

Hello !Myself ,Amreen..a B.Ed student of 2010-11, I want to tell you importance of dialogue I know that every one understand the value of dialogue and we can reach at a point through dialogue where we can go ahead for solutions like we can find some solution in kashmir and naxal effected areas if we will come for dialogue as our PM said in the speech on independence day. but I want to ask also a question that how we can call people for dialogue ?
i want to comment on sudamini's veiws she asked how we can make an inclusive classroom in a short time space although i have not any teaching experience but i want to say only that we should experiment at a small level in beginning after that an environment would set for this than we can go ahead because we have to take initiative.

After this activity all students say's “sir now we know that what is process of election in India. So I thing its a very practical method to learn something.

विश्व शांति के लिए नॉबेल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा इन दिनों भारत यात्रा पर हैं। ओबामा, महात्मा गाँधी के वैश्विक शांति के विचारों से बेहद प्रभावित दिख रहें हैं, और खुद को विश्व शांति के प्रचारक के तौर पर पेश कर रहे हैं। लेकिन इस शांति-सद्धभावना के पीछे का एक सच यह भी है कि ओबामा का मकसद भारत के 50 अरब डालर के रक्षा सामानों के बाज़ार का बड़ा हिस्सा हासिल करना है। उनकी नज़र 100 अरब डालर के न्यूक्लियर पावर बाज़ार पर भी है। जनरल इलेक्ट्रिक जैसी कंपनियों की इस सेक्टर पर बरसों से नज़र है। ओबामा के साथ आ रहे 200 उद्योगपतियों की नज़र भारत के 400 अरब डालर के रिटेल कारोबार पर भी है। अमेरिकी अखबार 'न्यूयार्क टाइम्स' के मुताबिक 200 अमेरिकी बिजनेसमैन के साथ आकर ओबामा साफ शब्दों में यह संदेश देना चाहते हैं कि उनका उद्देश्य दोनों देशों के आर्थिक सम्बन्धों को ऐसे स्तर पर ले जाना है जिससे दोनों को खूब फायदा हो।
ऐसे में अमेरिकी नीति को शांति का जामा पहना कर बराक ओबामा अमेरिकी हथियारों को भारत में खफाना चाहते हैं। हैरत तो होती है... लेकिन क्या सच में हमें हथियारों की जरूरत हैं ? क्या हम हमेशा अमेरिका की नज़र में एक बाज़ार ही बने रहेगें ?

11 नवंबर 1888 में मौलाना अबुल कलाम आजाद का जन्म हुआ था। वे भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संघर्ष में गाँधी जी के सहयोगी भी थे। एक कर्मठ, विद्वान तथा सुयोग्य जो भारत, भारतीयता तथा भारतीयों की शैक्षिक आवश्यकताओं को समझते थे। देर से ही सही, अब मौलाना आजाद का जन्म दिवस 11 नवम्बर राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा है। स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद भारत के पहले शिक्षा मंत्री के रूप में मौलाना आजाद द्वारा समय-समय पर व्यावहारिक तथा भविष्य को ध्यान में रखकर जो विद्वतापूर्ण विचार व्यक्त किये गये, उनकी प्रासंगिकता आज भी नीति निर्धारकों का मार्गदर्शन कर रही है। केन्द्रीय शिक्षा संस्थान की स्थापना में मौलाना आजाद और पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू के प्रयासों का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा है। यह मौलाना आजाद ही थे जिन्होनें केन्द्रीय शिक्षा संस्थान को ना सिर्फ शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण से जोड़ा बल्कि इसे भविष्य के शिक्षा संबंधी समस्याओं पर शोध के लिए भी तैयार किया। आज केन्द्रीय शिक्षा संस्थान मौलाना आजाद के दिए मार्गदर्शन पर निरंतर प्रगति कर रहा है।

Sharing my school experience with you. When I entered into the classroom, I found a different world there. It was time to revive my past. I started taking their introduction. They said their name and other thing about their self. Each Individual was different from other one. Diversity with unity was in the classroom. Each face has her smile… I just felt it is my class and they are my students. A responsibility came into my mind that I have to reach into them with their experiences. Now I am teaching them with Question-answer method, and try to take out their day to day life experience in the classroom. And it works when the students learn.

आजादी की लड़ार्इ में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाने के साथ भारत के नव निर्माण, लोकतंत्र को मजबूत बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देने वाले बच्चों के चाचा नेहरू और देश के प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू बेहतरीन वक्ता, उत्कृष्ट लेखक, इतिहासकार और आधुनिक भारत के निर्माता थे।
पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू का जन्म 14 नवम्बर 1889 को हुआ था। पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू का बच्चों के प्रति काफी स्नेह था और प्यार से बच्चे उन्हें चाचा कहते थे। नेहरू जी मानते थे कि शिक्षा के अलावा खेल में भी छोटी उम्र में ही रचनात्मकता को प्रोत्साहित किये जाने की जरूरत है क्योंकि बालमन खाली स्लेट की तरह होता है जिसे सकारात्मक आकार प्रदान किया जा सकता है। बच्चों से काफी स्नेह होने के कारण इस दिवस को प्रत्येक वर्ष ‘बाल दिवस’ के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
भारत की आजादी की लड़ार्इ की एक बड़ी घटना 1919 के जलियांवाला बाग हत्याकांड के बाद पंडित नेहरू ने भारतीय राजनीति को दिशा देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभार्इ। उस समय वह जलियांवाला कांड के कारणों की जांच के लिए बनायी गर्इ समिति के सदस्य बने थे।
पंडित नेहरू की ऐतिहासिक दृष्टि काफी प्रभावित करने वाली है जिसका प्रमाण ‘डिस्कवरी आफ इंडिया’ और ‘ग्लिम्पसेज आफ द वलर्ड हिस्ट्री’ है। जवाहर लाल नेहरू को आधुनिक भारत का निर्माता कहना कोर्इ अतिशयोक्ति नहीं है। दूसरे विश्वयुद्ध के बाद विभाजित भारत का नवनिर्माण करना कोर्इ आसान काम नहीं था।
हम सभी के चाचा नेहरू को उनके जन्म दिवस पर शत्-शत् नमन।

in his complaints,surjeet had specifically mentioned that the foundation of property number N-85,Lalita park,whish collapsed on mondey night,was weak..
besides the complaint,surjeet claimed that he had filed several RTIs with MCD too."but no action was taken by MCD or police.instead i recived death threats.All policemen and MCD officials in that area are part of this nexus.for years they have been overlooking illegal constructions being carried out by singh as they are bribed by him,"

The term ‘Care’ is now being added and discussed extensively in the field of education, recognizing the fact that young children need care and nurturing in the process of acquiring knowledge.
However, my experiences acquired and observations done as an NGO worker and teacher reveals the opposite practices done by many so-called teachers of our society.
I strongly feel that teacher's training has got very less to do with it.
So, whoever is reading this post of mine, please think about it seriously if teaching is more than a profession to you.. and learn and try to teach with passion because then only you will be able to care for the learners and future citizens of our society..

मेरा नाम रीना है.मैं बी.एड 2013-2014(C.I.E.) की छात्रा हुं.
मेरी एस ई पी अभी हाल ही में चल रही है.
मेरा स्कूल सरकारी है.जो बहुत ही छोटा है.उसमे केवल 298 विद्यार्थी है.परन्तु फ़िर भी वहां अध्यापक कक्षाओं में कम ही जाते है.जो अधिकतर जातें हैं वो विद्यार्थियों को मार-पीट करके ही कक्षा मे चुप कराते हैं.आर.टी.ई.एवम अनेकों समितियों ने कक्षा में मार पीट पर रोक लगाइ है परन्तु वह केवल क्या कागजों तक सीमित है.विद्यालयों मे इस पर रोक क्यों नही है? और कब तक ये कक्षाओं में लागू होगी दोस्तों?
Hello everyone, myself Sakshi Vatsa a student of B.ed at CIE 2013-14. Recently i was reading an article in Hindustan Times with title Rahul Gandhi courts controversy and what clicked in my mind is Rahul Gandhi's worst enemy is Rahul Gandhi himself as it should be ascertained as to what prompts the congress vice president to speak in the way he does. Every time he addresses a rally or speaks to a group ,he makes a statement that ends up as a controversy.this make me wonder at times what kind of PM he would make if the congress or UPA were to come back to power. he must learn to weigh his words before he speaks.
Apart from sharing my above views i would say its been my pleasure to be a part of CIE and specially to CIVICS SOCIETY. Thank you Pankaj Sir for providing such a beautiful ,encouraging plateform for us
नमस्कार सर और मेरे दोस्तो.07-11-2013 मेरे स्कूल अनुभव का दिन था.उस दिन वहां एक अजीब सी बात हुई.एक अध्यापिका जो उस विद्यालय में पढाती हैं.हमें बोल रही थी की आप कभी भी स्कूल आ सकते हो ये सरकारी स्कूल है.कौन यहां समय पर आता है?अब मैरे दिमाग में तब से ये बात चल रही है कि हम लोग क्यों भूल जाते हैं कि सरकारी तंत्र भी हम लोगों से मिल कर बना है.जब तक हम अपने आप को सही नही करेंगें तो सरकारी तन्त्र ऎसे ही विख्यात होता रहेगा.हम ईंटों की इमारत या मेज-कुर्सी को क्या सरकारी तंत्र कह सकते हैं.
और ज्यदा हैरानी की बात यह थी कि मैरें कुछ साथियो को उनकी बात बहुत अच्छी लगी और मुझसे वो नराज हो गये क्योंकि मैने उस बात का विरोध किया. C.I.E. में हमें बोला जाता है कि आपको समय का विशेष ध्यान रखना है.अब बात आती है यहां से बी.एड करने की तो जो सिर्फ़ डिग्री लेने आए हैं तो डिग्री तो कहीं से भी मिल जाती.यहां से हम बहुत कुछ सीख सकते हैं तो दोस्तों ये याद रखो कि बीता हुआ समय वापस नही आयेगा.और C.I.E. जैसे संस्थान से बी.एड करने का मोका किस्मत वालों को मिलता है तो हमें यहां से इतने अनुभवी अध्यापको से ज्यादा से ज्यादा सीखना चाहिए

अभि के दिनों में हमारी एस.ई.पी.के दिन चल रहें है और कई दूसरे अध्यापक हमें अवलोकित करने के लिए आते हैं.इन दिनों मुझे एक बात देखने को बहुत मिल रही है कि हर कोई नये अध्यापको को खुश करने में लगा हुअ है.कोई अपने पढाने के नये तरिकों से तो कोई दूसरे तरिकों से.पर एक नई बात आज मैं आप लोगों से बांटना चाहती हुं कि कई बार हम अपने अपने अध्यापकों को खुश करने के चक्कर में ये भूल जाते है कि हम भी और ’सरकारी अध्यापकों की तरह होते जा रहे हैं.हम अपने अन्दर कमियां ना देखकर सिर्फ़ विद्यार्थियों की कमियां निकाल रहे हैं.और तो और कक्षा को अच्छा दिखाने के लिए विद्यार्थियों को शारीरिक तौर पर हानि भी पहुंचवा रहे हैं. क्या ये सही हैं.
क्योकिं हमें तो उन विद्यार्थियों को धन्यवाद कहना चाहिये की वो हमें इतना कुछ सीखने का मौका हमे दे रहे हैं.एक दो बालक हर कक्षा में हमेशा थोडा शैतान रह्ते हैं,परन्तु अगर हम भी उनके साथ मार पीट करे या उनके अध्यापकों से कराये तो क्या उस बालक के मन मे कभी भी एक अध्यापक के छवि बदल पाएगी.
एक बार तो एक विद्यार्थी ने कह भी दिया आप मार लो मैं धीट हो चुका हुं.
दोस्तों ऐसे में मार-पीट काम आएगी या प्यार से समझाना क्योंकि बाद में प्यार से समझाने पर वो विद्यार्थी समझ गया था.

election fever is on and This state election is historic in the sense that for the first time in Indian election history, voters had the option of choosing the “None of The Above” (NOTA) button on EVMs if no candidate is acceptable to them. The NOTA option has been introduced for the first time as a result of a Supreme Court ruling on September 27, 2013 which allowed the voters to cast negative votes.
but is it a good option given to voters???????

नमस्कार दोस्तों
आज मुझे सिर्फ़ 5 मिनट देरी की वजह से स्कूल मे प्रवेश नही मिला.आज सी.टी.ई.टी. का पेपर था.क्या ये 5 मिनट की देरी मेरे 6 महिने के इन्तजार से ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण थी?क्योकि अब मुझे नौकरी अगली साल और सी.टी.ई.टी. का पेपर मैं 6 माह बाद ही दे पाउंगी.
क्या आज मैरे साथ सही हुआ?
क्या बोर्ड को यह नियम बदलना नही चाहिये?
उन लोगो के पेर जोडने पर भी मुझे परवेश नही मिला.और कहा गया कि अब 6 महिने बाद आराम से आना.
